This exciting tour can be tackled in 2 ways ...

for the not so faint hearted we can do it in the old way with 4x4 vehicles hooked up with off road trailers and roof top tents, or ...

we can arrange for 5 star accommodation all along the way at different lodges that we will pre determine depending availability of space and on the size of your group - with a minimum of 10 adults.

With your arrival at Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, you will be received by representatives of The African Experience™ Company, they will transport you from the airport to a choice of either a 5 star Spa or a Game Farm for 2 nights.

We will then proceed in a Northerly direction towards Mokopane in the Limpopo province in South Africa, where you will spend a day or two recovering from your flight. From there we will cross the Botswana Border at Groblersbrug, where we will then turn towards Francistown - which is one of the bigger cities in Botswana. You will spend a night at the Nata Lodge in Nata, Botswana.

The following morning we will enter the Chobe Game reserve where we will stay at the only 5 star lodge in the area. During our 4 to 5 day stay there we will scout the Chobe and Savuti regions.

We will then take a day trip across the border with Zimbabwe or Zambia to spend the day at the Victoria waterfall - one of the biggest in the world.

You will be able to relax a lot on this tour and really get up close & personal with nature. You will see amazing sights of thousands of game that will entertain your sight and senses around every corner.

Add-on options are a definite option if there are specific places you would like to visit.

In Botswana you will experience nature at its best with very little commercialized influences. African crafts and art will be available all along the way at give away prices.

The price for the self drive trips include the rental of the vehicle and equipment, all the accommodation, entry fees at game parks and it excludes fuel, road taxes, insurance and your airfare costs from and back to home.
